RPL Training by Jaipur Rugs Foundation

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for carpet weaving artisans as part of ‘Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2.0’ was launched on 3rd March, 2017 by Jaipur Rugs Foundation at Manpura Macheri, Amer Tehsil, Jaipur Dist. Raj. Through this program skill certification to be imparted to artisans by recognizing their prior skills after providing 72 hours of training on domain skills and soft skills besides training on information and communications technology, entrepreneurship and importance of team work followed by an assessment. 8 RPL centres were launched and training to 480 artisans began on this day. Kits were distributed to all the trainees during the inauguration of this program. Shri Manish Kumar, MD & CEO - NSDC visited our RPL training Centre

MD & CEO of NSDC National Skill Development Corporation Shri. Manish kumar and Shri. Jayakanth Singh, Head, Partnership & State Alliance, NSDC visited Jaipur Rugs Foundation's RPL training centre at Med Village, Virat Nagar Tehsil in Jaipur and interacted with the trainees. Interaction with these officials boosted the confidence of these women artisans working at the grassroots.
